Las Vegas was the place to be this past weekend. Friday night kicked off the iHeart Radio music festival at the MGM Grand Arena.

Our favorite celebs JAY-Z, ALICIA KEYS, NICKI MINAJ, USHER, and JENNIFER LOPEZ performed at the 2 day concert to promote Clear Channel’s new “radio” app designed to bring radio back as the preferred medium to access music. The iHeart Radio Fest was a a huge success, and one that media personality RYAN SEACREST dubbed “the biggest live music event in radio history.” JAY-Z and ALICIA KEYS graced the stage together to perform their hit “Empire State of Mind” and MS. KEYS even performed her new single “Place of My Own.”

NICKI MINAJ and her army of barbies hit the stage with their usual antics as she performed several of her hits including everyone’s favorite, “Super Bass.” Her red carpet outfit was not one to be overlooked. No, your eyes have not deceived you. The pendant on her necklace is in fact a pink chicken wing. *Head Scratch*

USHER and J. LO also tore the stage up. USHER performed a medley of hits, while J. LO performed some of her more recent club bangers like “On The Floor” and “Into You.”

Pregnancy may prevent her from performing, but workaholic BEYONCE is still going hard promoting her new fragrance Pulse. Last night Bey and friends celebrated the launch of her new perfume at the NYC penthouse Dream Downtown and it was definitely a star-studded event. Hubby JAY-Z was in attendance as well as BEY’s little sis SOLANGE who DJ’ed at the event.

Pulse is set to hit stores next month, and the new scent is made to represent BEY’s feisty and fearless presence on stage. We couldn’t help but notice that Bey’s been doing an excellent job of concealing her baby bump. We hardly noticed it in this baby blue sequined Roberto Cavalli mini dress and blazer. Pregnancy has never looked this good – on anyone.

Our boy 50 CENT is rarely in the news these days for anything other than igniting beef on Twitter and making drastic hairstyle choices (we’re still mad at that S-curl.)

However recently 50 CENT has made bank with endorsements from Vitamin Water and business ventures like the G-Unit clothing line. This time FIDDY is taking a more humanitarian approach to promoting his new product – his energy drink, Street King.

50′s recent trip to South Africa for The World Cup opened his eyes to the extreme poverty levels that our brothers and sisters abroad are faced with. But instead of turning the other cheek, 50 decided to step up for the cause. His goal is to feed one billion hungry children. For every unit of the  Street King energy drink sold, the rapper turned mogul will donate money to feed one starving child.

Exactly what percentage of the profit will be donated is not exactly clear. But one thing is for sure –  a few bucks for an energy drink is the least we can do help starving kids, who don’t know where their next meal will come from.

In the days where most celebrities are quick to flaunt and slow to give back, it’s nice to see the kid 50 give from the heart.

Until today, the only “throne” JAY-Z and KANYE WEST were watching was the one LIL WAYNE was sitting on – but better late than never, right?

After a month of lagging behind LIL WAYNE whose  The Carter IV album went platinum in just one week flat, JAY-Z and KANYE WEST‘s album Watch The Throne is finally certified platinum. It’s not like HOV and ‘YE really need the cash nor the validation that comes with going platinum, but it’s great that the two rap heavyweights can finally pop bottles and toast to the success of a highly respected collaboration.

The fact that sales of Watch The Throne faltered behind The Carter IV  baffled fans, as WAYNE’s album was a lyrical flop and unanimously considered by critics as one of his worst projects. Conspiracy theorists even claim that Cash Money mogul and WEEZY’s mentor BIRDMAN single handedly threw down racks on racks and purchased a few thousand copies of ” The Carter IV” to boost sales. BIRDMAN adamently denies the rumor (but can we really trust the word of a rapper who’d cop an $8 million car? Probably not.)

Critics also came down on “Watch The Throne” for it’s unusual release strategy – releasing the album exclusively on iTunes first and then releasing the hard copy did more harm than good. That, coupled with the combined arrogance of the two hip-hop tastemakers one on album, turned a lot of folks off. Ultimately, we all know JIGGA MAN and YE’ have the rap game on lock and “Watch The Thone” was bound to receive a platinum plaque at some point or another. Congrats to JAY and KANYE both!

An arsenal of blonde wigs, a brand new baby, two sassy teenage daughters and a naiive fiancee?

Sounds like the makings of a juicy, drama-filled reality show. That’s just what Bravo had in mind when they offered Real Housewives of Atlanta star and homewrecker KIM ZOLCIAK her own spin-off series. The show will be modeled after Real Housewives star BETHENNY FRANKEL’S spin-off Bethenny Getting Married and will showcase KIM in the light of a new mom, fiancee, and career woman (whatever career that is.)

The confirmation of the new show stirs up lots of controversy in the Real Housewives camp, as the obvious choice for a spin-off would have been KIM’s arch enemy NENE LEAKES who starred in Celebrity Apprentice earlier this year.

NENE has made it loud and clear during several interviews that she had her sights set on landing her own spin-off on Bravo, but the network just wasn’t feeling it. Knowing network gave the spot to the object of NENE’s disgust has to sting!

KIM’s new series might reveal the answers to some of the most perplexing questions we have about her. What’s her real age? What caused the split with the mysterious BIG POPPA?  More importantly, what’s really underneath that wig? *SNATCH*

Singer NE-YO, 31, and his boo MONYETTA SHAW have announced that not only are they expecting their second child this October – they’re also engaged!

Amid the outlandish rumors that the R&B singer is a closeted bisexual, your boy suprised fans one year ago when he announced that he was expecting a child with SHAW, who was a mystery in the public eye.

Now, their 10 month-old daughter is about to be an older sister, and MONYETTA is about to be Mrs…Yo? Anywho, pregnancy hasn’t stopped Ne-Yo’s brand new fiancee from her grind. She’s hustling to open her Atlanta boutique Emaralyn and Ester, pregnant belly and all.

We’re not sure what caused  Basketball Wives EVELYN LOZADA to have this epiphany, but the Bronx born reality star took to her Twitter account last night to inform the world those who care that she may be hanging up her reality TV hat for good. She tweeted the following statements last night:

EVELYN hasn’t tweeted anything since issuing those comments, so her declaration might be for real this time. We guess the 35 year-old narcissistic reality star finally realized that a life of twitter rants and caught-on-camera cat fights is not the look? Or her fiance CHAD OCHOCINCO made her realize her relationship is only big enough for one narcissistic media feen?

We can hear Chad now: “Evelyn I need to be the only mutha f*ck*n factor in this relationship.”

Apparently, even the rich and famous can end up in a roach motel. 

RIHANNA is suing Prudential California Realty over damages in the $6.9 million dollar home she purchased in 2009. According to Ri-Ri, there was severe water leakage in some rooms of the mansion after a rainstorm last year. The storm isn’t fully to blame, though – the leaks occurred from a balcony that lacks the proper slope and drainage. Due to faulty inspections and Landmark Design Group’s failure to make necessary repairs, RIHANNA is demanding her cash back. RIHANNA, claims she got hoodwinked by the seller of the two-story mansion, who she suspects knew about the water defects in the home the entire time.

But here’s really why she’s mad as hell – considering all the construction defects, the property value is worth millions of dollars less than what she actually paid. Ouch! That’s enough to make anyone go postal.

Remember when your mama always said, “Honesty is the best policy”? Well, it turns out some people still hold true to that. 

CHRIS BROWN lucked up recently after a fan with a heart of gold returned the $22,000 Rolex that fell from Breezy’s arm during his performance at the 2011 VMAs (this also begs the question of why you’d even wear that kind of watch to a performance where you’re doing backflips in mid-air, but we digress.)

While the average person would’ve hauled ass to the nearest pawn shop, an anonymous woman returned the watch to a bodyguard who went into the audience looking for the Roli.

CB is so happy to have the diamond-encrusted timepiece back in his possession that he’s offering the good semaritan tickets and backstage passes to his next tour. We were thinking something like a new car… but good enough, Chris.
