CHRISTINA MILIAN wears many hats – singer, actress, TV host and most importantly, mother.
Her short-lived marriage to THE DREAM produced a daughter, VIOLET, now two years old. In an interview with Houston radio station 97.9, MILIAN alluded that THE DREAM needs to spend more time with their daughter.
She said, “I really would like for her to have a father in her life. And I wasn’t really happy at the moment and I’m still not in the best case but I’ve come to the realization that I have to be a 150 – 200 percent mom for her. It’s not about finances. No, it’s about spending time.”
Meanwhile THE DREAM, who also shares three other children with singer NIVEA, tweeted on Father’s Day, “The only pain my children will feel will be the pain whispered to them. In time hopefully years from now my children will say….My Father took me with him. I salute all fathers even those who haven’t got a chance to prove it yet.”
Let’s just hope these two can come to a resolution for the sake of the kiddies.

Rumors has it that Slaughterhouse rapper JOE BUDDEN and his video vixen ex-girlfriend TAHIRY have signed onto replace EMILY B. and FABOLOUS on the New York edition of Love and Hip-Hop.
BUDDEN and TAHIRY’s addition to the show will certainly fuel the drama, since BUDDEN and cast member SOMAYA REECE dated and had a messy break-up a few years back.
Stemming from their very public love triangle, TAHIRY and SOMAYA had an infamous Twitter battle putting each other’s DMs on blast. It wasn’t long before a video featuring TAHIRY mocking the female rapper went viral last year.
Since CHRISSY and JIM JONES have also jumped the Love and Hip Hop ship, it’s clear that producer MONA SCOTT-YOUNG is trying to reel the ratings back in – and loud mouth rapper JOE BUDDEN would be the one for the job.
When will it end? Former That’s So Raven star ORLANDO BROWN has been issued yet another arrest warrant after failing to show up to an L.A. court last Friday.
It’s been barely a month since the 24-year old was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant, stemming from a 2011 DUI arrest. BROWN allegedly failed to prove that he had enrolled in a mandatory alcohol education class.
On Friday, BROWN was scheduled to appear in court to yet again prove that he had enrolled in the program, but was a no-show.
No further confirmation has been given from BROWN’s camp.

Last night celebs pulled out all the stops at the 2012 BET Awards hosted by SAMUEL L. JACKSON to make it one of the most memorable BET has seen in years.
A-listers JAY-Z and BEYONCE, who are normally missing from the sea of Black faces at this award show, sat front row and offered the world to view some rare PDA moments.
Right next to the hip hop power couple, sat KANYE and his flavor of the month KIM KARDASHIAN, who more than provided the source for some of most shady moments of the night.
NICKI MINAJ, FRANKIE BEVERLY and MAZE, and USHER rocked the house with their performances, and D’ANGELO for his first televised performance in over 10 years. And of course, no the awards wouldn’t have been complete without paying homage to the late and great WHITNEY HOUSTON.
Celebs like DRAKE and RIHANNA were noticeably absent from the show, and a few awkward moments had us giving our TV sets the side eye.

After the dust has settled on the NICKI MINAJ vs. Hot 97 fiasco, Young Money commander-in-chief LIL’ WAYNE has finally come forward to explain his decision to pull NICKI and all Young Money artists from the show.
The man that pulls the Young Money strings told MTV News,
“I believe females deserve the ultimate respect at all times. No matter what, when, where or how. So, as soon as she called me and said that she felt disrespected, I just declined everything. I pulled her from the show because first of all no person that works with me will be disrespected in my presence as long as I’m on this planet.”
Sort of ironic that this all coming from a rapper known for referring to women as b*tches and H*es repeatedly on his records. Hmmm…interesting.
NICKI would have been the first female emcee to headline the show. Since dropping out of the show, NICKI has promised her fans a free concert to make amends for her no-show. But the residual controversy still lingers and has even ignited beef between HOT 97 (who sponsored the show) and rival NYC radio station 105.1.
