After years of feuding mega mogul OPRAH WINFREY and rap mogul 50 CENT decided to make peace on this past episode of the series Oprah’s Next Chapter.
In their first TV interview ever yesterday night, the two finally very candidly cleared the air, after the chat show legend made no secret of her dislike for rappers, in particular 50 Cent.
“I would see moments when you would discuss your feelings on the culture and everything that was wrong with the culture was what was on my CD, and I was like, ‘Oh, she doesn’t like me’,” 50 told Oprah. “I was saying, ‘If I can’t be your friend, at least let me be your enemy, so I co-exist.’”
Oprah replied: “That’s interesting…I don’t spend a lot of time looking at people who don’t like me, but I did hear that you said something like…’I had white women in my audience that were as old as your grandmother…’ I felt that that was a pointed criticism.”
Funny enough the interview took place in Queens at 50 Cent’s grandmother’s house, and the two ended the interview with respect and better understanding of each other.
Tell us, do you think the reconciliation has anything to do with OWN’s low ratings?

Click inside to watch...As the NICKI MINAJ Summer Jam debacle continues, singer LAURYN HILL has become the only (and least-expected) person whose comment on the situation has any worth.
On Monday, MS. HILL wrote the following Twitter message:
“I don’t have details on exactly what transpired between the station and the artists, but I do support artists standing by their beliefs and walking with integrity.”
“We have to find a better way to commercially exploit music while giving artists their proper respect. This cannot be done while taking their contributions for granted or trying to control the scope of their growth and power through threats and fear tactics.”
She then added:
“We can do better than this, there is a better way, or else ‘we’ (the proverbial we) find ourselves in danger of being hypocrites.”
#Preach Sista Lauryn!
Since the incident, NICKI MINAJ has thanked Ms. HILL and spoke with HOT 97 radio personality FUNKMASTER FLEX in an hour-long messy interview that has ended with her confirming she will return to the tri-state area to put on a free concert.
This week: We get the chance to interview the full cast of Basketball Wives for our own “special” reunion show.
NICKI MINAJ has denied that two accused members of her dance crew murdered an Irish student who came to see MINAJ perform last month while in Tokyo.
Yesterday the “Beez In The Trap,” rapper sent her condolences to exchange student Nicola Furlong‘s family after hearing the news of her death.
She then tweeted blogger PEREZ HILTON to make a statement denying anyone in her camp were involved in the Furlong’s death.
“@PerezHilton my dancers had nothing to do w/this tragedy. No one in my entourage was questioned or arrested. They all flew home from Japan,” MINAJ wrote on Twitter to the celebrity blogger.
She continued, “@PerezHilton that person on your sight is NOT my dancer. We do NOT know the men in custody. Too much misleading information.”
Allegedly according to IrishCentral, Tokyo police have released a statement confirming that they arrested two American men in connection with the crime. One of which is James Blackston, 26, MINAJ’s backup dancer.
BET is undergoing a lot of changes, especially with cast changes of one of their most popular scripted show’s The Game.
TIA MOWERY recently announced that she would be leaving the show in pursuit of other projects, and earlier this week MOWERY’s on-screen husband and co-star POOCH HALL confirmed he will be leaving as well.
HALL confirmed via Twitter that he was leaving to pursue his involvement on a new project called Ray Donovan. He also took the time to disband rumors that he was fired from the show joking, “The ONLY place I ever got fired from was Little Ceaser Pizza!”
With MOWERY and HALL’s characters being the center of the show, do you think The Game will still be successful without the drama of Melanie and Derwin?
The trials and tribulations of TERRELL OWENS, just seem to never end.
In the past year he has managed to lose his job in the NFL, losetwo of his best friends, lose most of his money in child support settlements and hearings, now most recently OWENS has lost his part time gig playing in an indoor football league.
In an effort to revamp his career, OWENS signed onto the Allen Wranglers Indoor Team this February for a reported six-figure salary and part ownership in the team – until earlier this week.
After failing to appear for two scheduled appearances and refusing to play in two upcoming road games (which he allegedly wasn’t contractually obligated to play in) the team’s owner JOHN FRANKEL considered it time for OWENS and the team to part ways, and left OWENS with a $50 severance payout according to TMZ.
In a released statement earlier this week, FRANKEL implied that his decision to release OWEN was based on the 38-year old receivers lack of commitment, “It is impossible to maintain a player when even our fans notice and comment on a player’s lack of effort both on and off the field,” he said.
T.O. could really use a little bit of luck and prayer… and hopefully a break into the league before it’s too late and he’s too old.
