Fool ‘Em: Blending Your Weave Installments!!!

New York City-based celebrity hair stylist Gabrielle Corney admits that matching your own hair texture with a weave installment can be the most challenging part of wearing extensions.

The Indique Hair Pro stylist says when done properly, the finished look is flawless and keeps ‘em guessing. “There are many creative blending options for partial installations,” says Corney. “Straight hair blends better with the use of heat tools and the sleekness can be maintained with wrapping it at night with a silk scarf or bonnet.”

However, blending textured hair requires a different approach. “It depends on how much of the natural hair has been left out,” explains Corney. “It has to be manipulated with product and then either twist set, pin curled, or braided into the installation to blend seamlessly.”- JILL GOLDSBERRY

Here are few products Corney suggests assist you in blending your hair with your weave installments:

Hair Headlines: Michelle Obama Reveals Why She Really Got The Bangs!!!

First Lady MICHELLE OBAMA has finally revealed that there’s more to her bangs than making a fashion statement.

While conducting a skype interview with RACHEL RAY, the First Lady dished, “This is my midlife crisis, the bangs.”

OBAMA, who debuted her bangs shortly before her 49th birthday, went on to reveal why she decided to be out with the old and in with the new.

“I couldn’t get a sports car. They won’t let me bungee jump. So instead, I cut my bangs,” the First Lady says.

Juicy spoke to her famed hairstylist JOHNNY WRIGHT, the hands behind the shears used to create the First Lady bangs.

WRIGHT insists the First Lady was ready for something new, saying, “Anything we do is more of collaborative effort than me pushing an idea. She simply wanted a change, and it looks great.”

We couldn’t agree more.

I’ll save you the suspense. The zany title is a metaphor.
