Step-By-Step: Tuxedo Nails!!!

Because of the high temps in the summer, most Juicy girls want to be cool and comfortable so they opt for looks that are more relaxed.

Extreme heat doesn’t have to be an excuse to be completely underdressed. Use tuxedo nails to turn your regular summertime look into a look befitting of a black tie affair!

If you’re ready to add a semi-formal touch to your everyday look, follow this Step-By-Step guide on how to create tuxedo nails.

Things You Will Need

*Base coat, white nail polish, black nail polish, a dotting tool (a nail art stripper or toothpick will suffice), nail polish remover, cotton balls, and top coat

Step 1

Starting with nails that are clean and polish free, place a layer of base coat on your nails.

Step 2

After the base coat has dried, paint the entire nail using white polish.

Step 3

Use black polish and your dotting tool to create four dots in the shape of a rectangle then place one dot in the middle.

Step 4

Draw a line from each dot to the dot in the middle, then connect remaining dots, forming a bow tie.

Step 5

Using black polish paint the inside of the bow tie.

Step 6

After the bow tie is complete, use black nail polish to draw a line similar to that of a french manicure on the top of your nail.

Step 7

Place three dots that go from the middle of the bow tie to the french manicured line.

Step 8

After all of the nail polish has dried, add an additional layer of top coat to prevent chipping.

It may take several attempts to perfect the tuxedo nail but with practice and patience your nails will be dressed to impress in no time!
