President BARAK OBAMA must of been a singer in another life.
His first musical debut singing AL GREEN‘s “Let’s Stay Together,” last month, and now he’s doing collabos with legendary blues musician BB KING and rocker MICK JAGGER.
Last night the President along with First Lady MICHELLE OBAMA held a concert in the East Room of the White House, with the President joining the all-star musicians for an ensemble rendition of his hometown anthem “Sweet Home Chicago.”
MICHELLE got up and danced, and after singing a few notes President OBAMA handed the mic to BB KING.
“This music speaks to something universal,” OBAMA told the Associated Press. “No one goes through life without both joy and pain, triumph and sorrow. The blues gets all of that, sometimes with just one lyric or one note.”
Yesterday it was being reported that RAY J allegedly conducted an interview with WGCI’s Morning Riot radio, and went nutso live on air discussing WHITNEY HOUSTON funeral, and BOBBY BROWN.
However RAY J denies the interview happened, and says that the whole “interview” was a spoof created by the station.
Allegedly RAY J is said to be considering taking legal action over the insensitive skit, and fairly upset by it all.
A source has also told Bossip that Ray is trying to come to terms with WHITNEY’s death in private, and isn’t even promoting his new book which came out last week.
“He’s having a very difficult time dealing with Whitney’s death,” the insider told the website. “He’s not even doing interviews right now because he’s not in the right place for that. He has a book (“Death Of A Cheating Man”) that just came out on Valentine’s Day and he’s not even promoting that right now. It was an incredibly insensitive thing to do.”
The shade is, everyone thinking he actually would do something like that.
A few weeks ago BEYONCE debuted her fab, post-baby figure and she looked better than ever.
Since then, tongues have been waggin’ about what she did for such a speedy turnaround and now we get the scoop from her personal trainer, MARCO BORGES.
Since the birth of lil’ BLUE IVY, BORGES has taken residency with the Carters and has put BEY on intensive workout regimen.
An insider tipped off Star Magazine and told them, ““Beyonce and Marco are up at 5 a.m. for a two-hour workout, and they do it again at 5 p.m. They do a mix of cardio, pilates, plyometrics, yoga, and of course dance.”
In regards to mama’s diet the source says, that BEYONCE has been on “…protein shakes, egg-white omelettes, pineapple chunks, and lots of ice-cold water… She’s exhausted but totally dedicated. Beyonce’s vowed to have a better body than ever before and she’s a woman of her word.”
Get it right, keep it tight Bey! We’re definitely feeling the results!
Mr. U-S-H-E-R is back with the release of his new, “electrosoul” banger “Climax.”
The track, produced by DIPLO captures that ever-so-popular falsetto we’ve grown to know and love, while still experimenting with the dance genre instead of his R&B roots.
Seems like a great move for his upcoming album!
Everyone is taking a page out of OPRAH‘s book, huh?
As previously rumored, music and media mogul DIDDY confirmed that he is launching his own cable TV network called Revolt. According to DIDDY, Revolt will be the first music TV station to use social media as it’s main platform. And it will especially give a voice to young musicians and talent of color.
Comcast will be the first cable operator to offer the Revolt channel, but DIDDY is sending an open invitation to others like Time Warner, Verizon, and Cablevision to “get down with the get down” (yes, those were his exact words.)

Last night, season four of Basketball Wives premiered with the introduction of two new faces to the Miami lineup.
KESHA NICHOLS, one half of the duo, is a professional dancer hailing from North Carolina who has recovered from, and celebrates the not-so-private breakup with her ex-fiancé, baller RICHARD JEFFERSON.
In an exclusive chat with Juicy, KESHA speaks on the difficulties of being the new girl, starting over in life, and what she hopes to gain from reality television.
JUICY: How did being casted for Basketball Wives come about?
KESHA NICHOLS: Basketball Wives started shooting for season 1, about a month or two after my wedding was cancelled. They approached me and asked me to be on season one but I felt it was too early and I needed to focus on starting my life and career over.
They came back to me again for seasons 2 and 3, and I was just focused on other things. But when they called about season 4….
This morning, Basketball Wives star JENNIFER WILLIAMS chopped it up with Power 105.1′s The Breakfast Club and shared her thoughts on the premiere episode from last night.
JEN, who is currently beefing with former best friend on the show EVELYN LOZADA, told the Breakfast Club that there’s no way in hell she and EVELYN will be friends again after EVELYN repeatedly attacked her on the show. And guess what? EVELYN may have a lawsuit coming her way!
Jen also confirmed that she does not have a pre-nup with soon to be ex-husband ERIC WILLIAMS, so she’ll likely be taking him to the bank.
Jen was also heckled by the show hosts for not defending herself after being attacked on several occasions. Ouch!
Allgedley RAY J goes on Chicago radio station and totally loses his marbles live on air.
Rumored to be WHITNEY HOUSTON boyfriend when she passed, and going through a lot of pain in the last couple of days was asked how he was dealing with it all, and started talking about his sister’s missing car keys at the airport which he was reported to breakdown.
“I had lost my sister car key, and I know how she feel about that, and with everything going on this car key would put everything over the top,” he allegedly rambled.
He continued to say he couldn’t afford to keep her car at the airport because he doesn’t have an album out.
Asked about the incident in which BOBBY BROWN left the funeral early over a seating row, RAY J began comparing his songs with BROWN’s, claiming his 2005 track ‘One Wish’ and ‘Sexy Can I,’ was a bigger hit than ‘Every Little Step I Take.’
He randomly broke out singing “One Wish,” until the station hung up on him. Were hoping this is a radio prank.
