Beyonce and Kanye West Rack Up The BET Nominations!!!

Yesterday BET’s STEPHEN HILL announced the nominees for the 2012 BET Awards, and both KANYE WEST and BEYONCE came in as frontrunners.

Held at press conference in NYC it was revealed that WEST leads the nominations with seven, including two Video of the Year nods for the Throne’s “N—as in Paris” and “Otis.” BEYONCE picked up six nominations including Best Female Artist, while hubby JAY-Z earned himself five noms.

It was confirmed both CHRIS BROWN and NICKI MINAJ will perform, and others to receive nods included TREY SONGZ, BIG SEAN, RIHANNA, RICK ROSS, and MARY J. BLIGE.

The 2012 BET Awards will take place at the Shrine Auditorium on July 1st and will be hosted by SAMUEL L. JACKSON, who said via video that the show will be “too big to miss.”
