We’re going to see a whole lotta BOBBY BROWN in the coming months. One June 5th, BROWN announced he will release his comeback solo album.
It’s been 14 years since the bad boy had a solo project. Given the amount of time that it has taken him to come out with his solo project, BROWN decided to fittingly call his work, The Masterpiece.
BROWN stated in a press release, “I simply wanted to create a body of work that will take listeners on a musical journey; the style of music that will allow people to get in touch with their highs and lows and their joys and pain of living through song. At the same time, I am hoping to bridge the gap between good old R&B and the R&B of today.”
In between a press tour to promote the album, and being on tour with his former boy group, the New Edition member has also finally set a date to marry ALICIA ETHERIDGE, his fiancée of two years.
BROWN’s single “Don’t Let Me Die,” dropped this week:
Will you be listening to The Masterpiece?
