Hip Hop legend NAS must have changed his mind about hip hop being dead.
The MC spoke with Rap-Up about his views on the rap game today, and said that sHarlem artist AZEALIA BANKS and Philly’s own MEEK MILL are holding it down for rap.
“She has incredible star power, you can see it already,”NAS said of BANKS.
He continued, “To come across the total package in this game, you need more than just a hot 16 and not everybody is blessed with the total package. She has it.”
When asked about artist MEEK MILL, he replied, “I got my eyes on him. He’s the next one to take this shit over. I’m rooting for him!”
“We have to support Meek Mill’s movement because he’s talking about real life and if we don’t support that, then what are we doing,” NAS questioned.
NAS’s album Life is Good, is set to be release July 17.
