Video: Jay- Z Says He’s Still Hip Hop!!!

JAY-Z spoke with MTV news, and reflected on his mogul making successes since he first entered the rap game.

HOV insists that despite his many various business ventures, he’s still is hip hop.

The legendary rapper says that although hip hop is making slight adjustment with it’s sound, JAY-Z says as an artist will remain loyal to hip hop considering his success is rooted there.

“I’m not jaded by the whole process,” he told MTV News.

“I’m a fan of the journey as well. I see myself as part of the collective of hip-hop. I don’t see myself as a thing that operates outside of it. So when I do these sort of things [like Budweiser's 'Made In America' Festival], I’m like, ‘Man, we’ve come a long way’,” he continued.

JAY recently confirmed that he and KANYE WEST will be recording a second Watch The Throne album.
