Oprah's Next Chapter | Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson… by Ashley_Miller_3
After years of feuding, mega mogul OPRAH WINFREY and rap mogul 50 CENT decided to make peace on this past episode of the series Oprah’s Next Chapter.
In their first TV interview ever yesterday night, the two finally very candidly cleared the air, after the chat show legend made no secret of her dislike for rappers, in particular 50 Cent.
“I would see moments when you would discuss your feelings on the culture and everything that was wrong with the culture was what was on my CD, and I was like, ‘Oh, she doesn’t like me’,” 50 told Oprah. “I was saying, ‘If I can’t be your friend, at least let me be your enemy, so I co-exist.’”
Oprah replied: “That’s interesting…I don’t spend a lot of time looking at people who don’t like me, but I did hear that you said something like…’I had white women in my audience that were as old as your grandmother…’ I felt that that was a pointed criticism.”
Funny enough the interview took place in Queens at 50 Cent’s grandmother’s house, and the two ended the interview with respect and better understanding of each other.
Tell us, do you think the reconciliation has anything to do with OWN’s low ratings?
