R&B sensation BRANDY gave her fans in the City of Brotherly Love an electrifying show last night as the headlining act for Philadelphia’s Global Fusion Festival.
The ‘I Wanna be Down,’ songstress had the massive crowd of Philly spectators grooving from start to finish, beginning her performance with her hit “Full Moon” and ending with her most loved duet, ‘The Boy Is Mine.”
After the show, BRANDY chopped it up about the concert, and exclusively told Juicy that even after being successful all these years, she did not expect to still be going on this hard and strong by 2012.
“I try to stay in the moment as much as possible, but I can just tell you that coming back now I feel like a brand new artist. I feel like everything that has happened before hasn’t happened, and I’m just really blessed to really be here… It’s like I’m glad, because if it was just a thing like yeah, I knew, I wouldn’t appreciate and it wouldn’t feel humble. It’s just weird to not know, because I can really take it all in, receive it and love it still like ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe this is happening.’ ”
BRANDY’s upcoming album Two Eleven, originally set to be released August 28th, is now expected to hit stores in early October. – BRITTANY SNYDER
