Tyler Perry Says That President Obama Helped Him With His Alcohol Addiction!!!

Unbeknownst to many  TYLER PERRY has been secretly battling an alcohol addiction, after the lost of his mother in December 2009.

The director of the beloved Madea franchise revealed to Essence magazine that after his mother became sick, he began drinking daily.

“When she got sick in 2009 I started drinking every night because I couldn’t sleep.”

He tells the magazine that it was a visit from President BARACK OBAMA that made him change his self destructive addiction.

“It was President Obama’s visit to my studio, I don’t know what happened there, but when he came everything became clear.”

“I just kind of came out of a haze. It was like, ‘Wake up, kid. You know life is still going on. I know you miss her, I know you care but wake up. Life is still going on.’” he admitted.

We’re proud of PERRY for getting better.
