NE-YO started a little bit of trouble for himself last week, after speaking out against the lack of emotion found within contemporary R&B music and even called out his friend and fellow R&B singer, TREY SONGZ, for his lack of emotion.
While NE-YO’s words could have been taken as constructive criticism, TREY SONGZ took them personally and stated, ” I’ma talk to Ne-yo when I see him. The thing is Ne-Yo knows me. Ain’t no need to have that conversation for the world to hear. I feel like that’s a sucka move,” when asked his opinions of NE-YO’s statement.
NE-YO recently took to Twitter to apologize for his statement by saying, “I’m a grown ass man with no problem admitting when I’m wrong or apologizing for my wrongs. W/ that said to the homie @TreySongz my bad pimp.”
After stating his apology NE-YO went further and congratulated TREY on the release of his new album, Chapter V.
What do you think of NE-YO’s apology?
