Jay-Z And Beyonce Host Fundraiser For Barack Obama!!!

Husband and wife, JAY-Z and BEYONCE will be hosting a fundraiser for president BARACK OBAMA on September 18th.

The President himself will be among the invited 100 guests, invited to an intimate soiree at JAY-Z’s 40/40 nightclub in NYC.

With tickets at a whopping $40,000 a pop, the fundraiser is believed to be president OBAMA’s final New York fundraiser before the 2012 presidential election.

The married stars are “committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure that President Obama is re-elected so he can keep moving our country forward,” they said in a joint statement provided by the campaign.

And in an e-mail going out to Obama supporters on Thursday, Beyonce mentioned their daughter, Blue Ivy, as one reason for getting involved.

“This has been a big year for my husband and me: We became parents,” she wrote. “Now that we have more than our own futures to worry about, the stakes in this election are even higher.”
