BEYONCE and JAY-Z just might be struck with the blues today.
The power couple officially lost their bid to trademark the name of their daughter, BLUE IVY.
BEY-Z’s loss comes as the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office declined the new parent’s petition to trademark their 10-month-old’s name as VERONICA ALEXANDRA has used the name ‘Blue Ivy’ for her event company since 2009.
Shortly after BLUE IVY CARTER’s birth in January, JAY-Z and BEYONCE filled a claim to trademark their daughters name.
