Charlene Thomas is a newly-divorced woman trying to rebound her personal life and television production career while raising two kids. Thankfully, she lands a much-needed job one day after her divorce is finalized. But it’s a new kind of company for her, an upstart cable channel, too obviously named The Gay Channel.
Some parts of the novel are a little rough around the edges, but Charlene’s fish-out-of-water moments are amusing and she makes for a snappy narrator. In the end, you could say it smooths you out. – RAKIA CLARKRelated Posts
