Earlier this week, NY showed love to Atlantic Records newest femcee BRIANNA PERRY at NYC’s SOB’s nightclub.
Her ‘Faces In The Crowd’ showcase, presented by Raelty and Chalant, brought out music execs from Atlantic and Poe Boy records all there to revel in the young talent.
PERRY, reminiscent of the late AALIYAH, graced the stage to perform her hit, “Marilyn Monroe,’ which BEYONCE posted on her website back in March.
When asked about her reaction to BEYONCE’s cosign, PERRY replied to Juicy with enthusiasm, “You see my face, this was my reaction!”
PERRY admitted she will always pay homage to those, like LIL KIM and FOXY who came before her.
“Their poise and confidence [is what influenced me today]. Rap is still a male dominated game and was even more so back them, but they stayed at the forefront and represented for the ladies,” she explained.
