14 years ago, BET Networks introduced Rap-It-Up, a national HIV/AIDS awareness campaign.
This year, August 16th marks another season of bringing education and awareness to young adults across America through media consisted of concerts, PSAs, forums and toll-free hotlines.
In conjunction with the multimedia marketing company Ready Set Impact, founder and radio personality JEANNIE JONES is joining Rap-It-Up to release their very own mixtape.
Artists WALE, 2CHAINZ, JADAKISS, SAMMIE and RASHIDA will be featured on the production and will kick off the college tour, starting September 7 at Virginia State University.
“Music continues to be a universal language that touches people around the world. If my partner and I can produce a music project that motivates people to choose to LOVE and LIVE by living a healthier lifestyle, then it’s a job done well,” JONES said.
