Say what you want about the quality of TYLER PERRY‘s movies but you can’t deny the man is a money making machine.

OWN network announced that it will become the singular destination for new TYLER PERRY television series and projects, including two scripted series.

Set to air in 2013, the two new series will be the first of its kind on the OWN network and will be written and directed by PERRY.

OPRAH WINFREY, CEO of OWN network, recently revealed, “We are all energized by the opportunity to collaborate with Tyler who has a proven track record for producing highly successful cable series.   He has an incredible ability to illuminate life stories and characters in his unique voice and inspires and encourages people all over the world.”

This is a good look for both parties involved, TYLER and OPRAH better work!

After a four year hiatus from music, the “T.O.N.Y.” singer, debuted the video for her highly anticipated single, “Losing You.”

Directed by MELINA MARSOUKAS, “Losing You,” was shot in South Africa and displays the countries unique fashion sense and art.

SHONDA RHIMES, creator of the hit dramas Scandal,Grey’s Anatomy, and Private Practice recently used her influence for to help an another Black female writer and producer.

RHIMES’ Shondaland production assisted ISSA RAE in both selling and co-producing RAE’s webisode, I Hate LA Dudes, to ABC network.

27-year-old RAE gained web-stardom after the success of her online series The Misadventures Of Awkward Black Girl.

Now the RAE has landed a spot on a major television network writing and co-producing I Hate LA Dudes, a 30-minute scripted comedy series, that will chronicle the plight of “an aspiring journalist, new to Los Angeles, who becomes the lone female voice on a budding, male-driven internet talk show, while learning to decode the often humiliating and exasperating rules of the LA dating scene,” according to Deadline.

Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star LIL SCRAPPY was arrested in Atlanta.

According to TMZ, the self proclaimed “Prince of the A,” was taken into police custody for violating his probation.

After a 2008 marijuana conviction, SCRAP was given a 5 year probation sentence and ordered to abstain from alcohol and illegal drugs.

While there’s no word on how LIL SCRAPPY violated his probation, we can only hope he didn’t have to “put them paws on” anyone.

TAMEKA FOSTER RAYMOND can’t seem to catch a break.

Several months after the unfortunate death of her son, KILE GLOVER, and then losing custody of her two son’s, USHER RAYMOND V, and NAVIYD, the stylist is now allegedly being forced out of her home by her ex-husband USHER.

According to TMZ, USHER is planning to sell the $3 million dollar estate, although FOSTER-RAYMOND has been residing in the home since her divorce.

Reports claim that their 2009 divorce settlement states that, FOSTER-RAYMOND was allowed to remain in the home, but USHER was given the ability to sell the property at his leisure as long he gave his ex-wife 60 day notice.
