Looks like actor LARENZ TATE is still getting checks.

Instead of being in front of the camera, TATE has taken a seat in the back as director of MELANIE FIONA latest video, “Wrongside of the Love Song.”

In the behind-the-scenes footage, FIONA and her leading man OMARI HARDWICK talk about the chemistry they naturally had with each other, and praise TATE’s skills as director.

“Wrongside of the Love Song,” is song  FIONA says, is “the true page out of my love story book,” and is nominated for a Grammy at this year annual ceremony in the Traditional R&B Performance category.

This weekend the Grammy Awards are upon us, and everyone including our First Lady, MICHELLE OBAMA is weighing in with who she would like to see win, on music’s biggest night.

Everyone knows the FLOTUS affection for all thingsBEYONCE, but says she really wants to see FRANK OCEAN and KELLY CLARKSON come up victorious for this Sunday’s Grammy Awards.

Yesterday CHRIS BROWN showed up to court with his boo, RIHANNA, right by his side.

BREEZY arrived at the LA Courthouse to face allegations that he lied about completing the 180 hours of community service he was sentenced to after assaulting RIHANNA in 2009.

The District Attorney’s office continues to slam BROWN because he disrespectfully violated his probation by claiming to be doing community work in Virginia when he was allegedly jetting around the world.

RIHANNA apparently blew him a kiss, and gave him some words of support before they entered the courtroom.

The next hearing has been scheduled for April 5, giving the judge enough time to review the evidence.

Witnesses say RIHANNA and BREEZY walked out of the courtroom arm-in-arm after the hearing, with the RI-RI appearing to cheer up a saddened BROWN.

This year the 55th Grammy Awards plans to get a bit more conservative.

An email sent from the Grammy gods was leaked that insists that this year the ladies (and a few men) cover up.

Deadline reports in the email, artists have been warned against “exposing bare flesh” on stage, and bans “problematic” outfits exposing private parts at Sunday’s (February 10) ceremony at the Los Angeles Staples Center.

“Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong-type costumes are problematic.”

“Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack .Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples.

“Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible ‘puffy’ bare skin exposure.”

Welp, that’s RIHANNA, NICKI MINAJ, and ADAM LAMBERT‘s whole wardrobe, back to the drawing board guys…

As much as we would like to see the fine IDRIS ELBA constantly on TV and movie screens, when it comes to the role he could play as the future James Bond – mum’s the word.

ELBA has admitted that he is flattered to be considered to be the next Bond, but in interview with GQ he say that he has been told to stop talking about it.

“It’s a rumor. And, I have to tell you, if the producers of Bond thought that I was self-campaigning, it would be such a turn-off,” ELBA said.

He continued, “I’m flattered, obviously, but I’ve been advised to just pipe down about it.”

ELBA explains that if he was to play the role, it would be far greater than just another part in a movie to him, saying, “What an honor it would be, but also, what an indication of change.”

Previously ELBA has said that he would like to play Bond, but doesn’t want the label of “the first black James Bond”.

“Sean Connery wasn’t the Scottish James Bond and Daniel Craig wasn’t the blue-eyed James Bond. So if I played him, I don’t want to be called the black James Bond,” ELBA stated.

Bond’s swag with a bit of ‘Stringer Bell’??? We just hope ELBA gets the role.

KRIS HUMPHRIES has came forth and said he is upset by KIM KARDASHIAN‘s attempts to rush their divorce just because she is now with child.

The NBA star explained to the courts, he shouldn’t be rushed in his divorce proceedings just because KIM unexpectedly got knocked up.

According to TMZ, HUMPHRIES’ lawyer Marshall Walter writes in a court document,”What is really going on here is that an ‘urgency’ in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something [Humphries] had nothing to do with, is perceived by [Kardashian] as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial.”

He continued in footnote, allegedly questioning KARDASHIAN’s decision to have a baby with boyfriend KANYE WEST while still legally married

Love and Hip Hop co-star MENDEECESS HARRIS is in a whole heap of trouble.

HARRIS, boyfriend and baby father to YANDY SMITH, now joins three men being accused of drug trafficking of heroin and cocaine in upstate New York.

According to reports by Rochester’s local newspaper, Democrat and Chronicle, HARRIS is involved in federal investigation allegedly accusing him of moving $2.5 million worth of drugs between 2005 and August 2012.

His co-defendants have already pleaded not guilty, although more than 1.5 million dollars in cash and jewelry has been seized by the authorities.

HARRIS will be arraigned in Rochester after a current trial in New Jersey for him sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl is finished.

Can she live? BEYONCE‘s under scrutiny once again, this time for wearing animal skins during her half-time performance at the Super Bowl this past Sunday.

BEYONCE delivered and electrifying performance in black and lace and leather bodysuit – made by designer Rubin Singer that was made of python skin, cut out iguana and other leather elements.

PETA, the animal activist group, couldn’t be more upseet.

“We would take a bet that if Beyoncé watched our video exposes, she’d probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits or other animals who died painfully,” a PETA spokesperson told New York Daily News.

They continued, “Today’s fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyoncé’s Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score.”

All this comes shortly after BEYONCE was criticized for wearing a coat made out of mink fur to President BARACK OBAMA’s inauguration last month.

Just days ago CHRIS BROWN “deleted” his Instagram account after comparing himself to Jesus, and now the troubled singer is back on the social media platform, claiming he deserves respect.

Instagram commonly used for posting photos, was instead used by BROWN to vent and explosively address his critics.

“I’m sick of being accused… I’ve been going through this s**t since I was 19 years old. You can’t sit here and tell me to calm down, when am I going to get a positive outcome out of anything I do?,” BROWN says in his super long rant posted to now private Instagram account.

He continues, “A day in my shoes is a day in hell, believe it or not… Before y’all say I’m weak, remember what I’ve been through.”
