MARIAH CAREY revealed her latest collaboration via Twitter yesterday morning.

The R&B songstress tweeted a picture of herself in a recording studio with R.KELLY followed by the caption,”Me and Kells in the lab in Chi town working on a new song!OMG-his voice sounds A++& #trappedinthecloset #totalclassic.”

There’s no word on whose song they’re working on, but another MARIAH CAREY and R. KELLY collab is long over due.

ASHANTI may have taken a break from the music scene but she has a new job as a host on Fuse TV.

One of her latest guests on Fuse TV, was rapper, LUPE FIASCO.

During her interview with FIASCO, ASHANTI discussed the inspiration for the album art of his new album, Food & Liquor II.

The awards for the 2012 Soul Train Music Awards have officially been released.

WHITNEY HOUSTON, and AMY WINEHOUSE, both received posthumous nominations.

HOUSTON is nominated for best gospel performance for “Celebration,” while WINEHOUSE is nominated for best international performance for her single, “Our Day Will Come.”

R.KELLY, nominated for six Soul Train Awards, makes Soul Train Music Award history with 21 total nominations for his entire career.

Other nominees include ELLE VARNER, J.COLE, NAS, WALE, BEYONCE, TREY SONGZ, and RIHANNA.

Hosted by CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER, the 2012 Soul Train Music Awards will air November 8th on BET and Centric.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star KANDI BURRESS is doing more than singing hooks on RASHEEDA songs. This boss chick is expanding her businesses.

According to TMZ, BURRESS recently revealed her plans to expand her sex toy line, Bedroom Kandi, to include home sales.

That means offering her sex toys to the public through channels like AVON and MARY KAY, bringing the “buzz” right to your house.

Soon fans of Bedroom Kandi can host their own sex toy party for friends to make purchases, and cash a Bedroom Kandi check as a consultant.

BURESS tells TMZ, “”With Bedroom Kandi, no need to go out, we will bring the party to you and your girls. Our BK consultants are from across the country and with them we hope to create an entertaining and exciting way for them to become entrepreneurs.”

U.S. Open winner and Olympic gold medalist SERENA WILLIAMS recently sat own with the cast of CBS’ This Morning to discuss winning her fourth U.S. open title, future goals, and life after tennis.

When asked how she felt when she was so close to defeat, SERENA replied, “When I got so close to defeat I thought, SERENA just make her serve for it. You’ve gotta hold serve here. If I could just hold on here i have a fighting chance.”

SERENA gushed when asked about her upcoming projects, “I still have my fashion line on HSN. I’m going to Asia and tour there and obviously the next Grand Slam is next year.”

When asked about life after tennis, the superstar stated,” I’m not even thinking about that, I’m not leaving.”

Record producer and American Idol judge, RANDY JACKSON, made an appearance on The View, where he discussed his views on American Idol and the changes that have been made on the show.

When asked about his feelings on the show JACKSON stated, “One of the greatest things happened for me recently, confirmed on the show, is my girl Ms Mariah Carey. Mariah is the only one confirmed on the show right now as a judge…”

BARBARA WALTERS, not pleased with JACKSON’s evasiveness, asked specifically if JACKSON was coming back on the show, to which JACKSON replied, “Lets see what happens. It all hasn’t been worked out but let’s see what happens.”

KANYE WEST leads the nomination lists with 17 nominations, including Best Hip Hop Video and Lyricist of the Year.

2 CHAINZ follows KANYE’s lead, with 13 nods while DRAKE is nominated for 11 awards.

Other nominees included A$AP ROCKY, J.COLE, WALE, RICK ROSS, NAS, and newcomer KENDRICK LAMAR.

The 7th annual BET Hip-Hop Awards will be filmed on September 29th in Atlanta, and air October 9th.

During her red carpet appearance on the 2012 MTV VMA’s MINAJ stated, “I’m releasing my album in November. It’s called Pink Friday Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up and I’m putting lots of new songs on there.”

MINAJ continued by saying, “I’m actually going to drop my new single next week. So Barbz, you are going to spaz, you are going to love it, you are going to go crazy.”
