Sometimes all a young reality TV star needs to transform her image from girl-next-door to mogul-in-the-making is a burst of attention-grabbing color to her “soft,” “thick” tresses. Pastry co-founder Angela Simmons, decided to add a lil’ blonde to her big ambition, even though celeb stylist Maisha Oliver (Lauren London, Kelis) was against it.
“[She] knew it would break my hair and damage it. But as long as I take care of my hair, it works for me,” shares Angie, a devoted weave wearer. The gutsy move earned the daughter of hip-hop royalty a spot Juicy’s Hot Hair column.

JUICY: What’s your skin care regimen for face and body?
FIONA: I switch between Clinique and Murad. On a daily basis, I use Clinique’s foaming face wash, Clinique’s No. 2 Toner and Clinique’s Dramatically Different Lotion. If my skin starts to stress out or break out because of travel or repeated days of wearing makeup, I switch to the Murad Acne Complex system. It’s very light and helps clear my skin up really quickly.
JUICY: What shades of nail polish do you love to wear?
FIONA: I love Barefoot in Barcelona by OPI and Chinchilly by Essie. Both are neutral colors that go with everything.
