JOHN LEGEND‘s fiancé CHRISSY TEIGEN has retracted her statements about being willing to call off the engagement to the R&B singer, and insists that she was joking when she revealed she’d set a ultimatum for the date of her wedding.
LEGEND proposed to his model girlfriend in December 2011, and in an recent interview with the New York Daily News suggested she was sick of waiting.
“We keep pushing the date. Definitely this year, but this year just started. If it’s not this year, I’m out,” TEIGEN told the paper.
She continued, “We were sick of people saying, ‘When are you getting engaged?’ – so we did. And now everyone’s asking when we’re getting married!”
More recently TEIGEN has now told Extra that she was just joking when she suggested that she was determined to wed LEGEND this year.
“Obviously it was a joke!” she said. “It’s ridiculous. I don’t care. I don’t even care about getting married. I’m happy to be with him.”

According to tvline.com, over 6.1 million viewers tuned in to the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday night.
While that number sounds huge, it is a drastically large decrease from 2011′s 12.45 million viewers.
With no appearances from Juicy favs, BEYONCE, JAY-Z, KANYE WEST, or ADELE, can we really wonder why this years show came in as the lowest VMA ratings in six years?
Could the fact that president BARACK OBAMA was speaking at the Democratic National Convention the same night or the fact that fashionistas were shopping their lives away at Fashion’s Night Out, play a large role in the lack of viewership?
Despite the low ratings, the 2012 VMA’s still managed to come in first as the night’s top telecast in the 12-34 viewer range.
Tell us, what do you think about the 2012 VMA’s and their lack of views?
Reality star, EVELYN LOZADA, sat down with Nightline’s AMY ROBACH to discuss the events surrounding the domestic dispute that ended her marriage with NFL player, CHAD “OCHOCINCO” JOHNSON.
According to LOZADA, “It was literally like three weeks after the wedding. I knew that he was lying. I told him, ‘I’m not sticking with you…’.”
When asked how she felt about the lack of sympathy she received because of her role on the show, Basketball Wives, LOZADA stated, “I understand it, but I also think that it’s just like saying ‘Look at what she had on, that’s why she got raped’. Whatever the perception is of me on ‘Basketball Wives’, that doesn’t justified what happened.”
Sporting a conservative blue dress, LOZADA shed crocodile tears throughout the interview and talked of being a changed person who won’t “act a fool,” on upcoming seasons of Basketball Wives. SURE!
Check out LOZADA’s interview above.

According to TMZ, sources say executive producer SHAUNIE O’NEAL did not make the call in regards to giving her cast mates the boot.
Although she is on record saying to The Insider,”If I would like this franchise to keep going, yeah, three would have to go,” O’NEAL says she was blindsided herself on SHED media’s decision to let the three Basketball Wives go.
Initially when fans heard of the news, many used Twitter to send O’NEAL harsh messages about how they felt.
She immediately hit back one fan in particular who expressed his opinion, “Get ur goofy ass some facts b4 u talk 2 me..Whose fired? #lame” Why so mad SHAUNIE if it isn’t true?
After the Tahiti finale this past Monday, and a post on a personal blog, reports surfaced that JENNIFER WILLIAMS would not be returning back to Basketball Wives next season.
However, the reports are false.
A rep for WILLIAMS recently confirmed with the YBF that WILLIAMS will return for future seasons, and that her most recent blog entry titled, “G-code,” may have been misleading.
”Jennifer is not saying goodbye to the Basketball Wives series. Her blog was meant to clarify where she stands in regards to the drama that took place during the season finale in Tahiti, not as a goodbye letter.”
We don’t know about this one. We may need more people. Read the blog post “G-Code,” it’s entirety here.

WILL SMITH admits that no one is going to break him or his marriage with his wife JADA PINKETT SMITH apart because he’s “indestructible.”
Rumors that the Hollywood power couple have plans to split, have been floating around since last year, and while JADA has already addressed the falsehoods, WILL now weighs in with his comments.
WILL told Access Hollywood, “It’s just part of the game. I’m not going to play that part.”
He continues to say he recognizes that he has haters, “I can understand where somebody would have something in their heart where they have to stab somebody, they have to poke at somebody, but I’m indestructible.”
“Your gonna hurt yourself stabbing at me.”
WILL got all Bad Boys 2 on us….yasssss!
Not to long ago NICKI MINAJ participated in a very compelling Nightline interview, in which she spoke on her upbringing and family life, and accused her father OMAR of being a drug addict/abuser/wife beater.
MINAJ revealed that she wanted to kill her father, because her Daddy often threatened to kill her mother, and at one time burned down their house.
Now according to TMZ, her father fires back, and says that his daughter may be sensationalizing the stories just a bit.
Omar admits he had anger issues when she was a child, but denies it ever reached the point NICKI described in her interview.
Sources say OMAR loves his daughter very much, and is hurt that she decided to go and exaggerate his behavior in the media.
Who do you believe?
JADA PINKETT SMITH has directly addressed the rumors surrounding her marriage to WILL SMITH, and says they are not on the verge of divorce.
The couple have been subjected to endless reports that their marriage is on the rocks, and the upcoming MIB:3 actor, WILL, was even said to be having an alleged gay affair with his best friend DUANE MARTIN.
JADA has now addressed the rumors publicly for the first time, and told Gala France that her marriage is good.
“Every year, a celebrity couple is on the radar. This year, unluckily, it’s us! I almost want to say that we should have been expecting it,” Jada says.
Jada went on to explain why they spend so much time apart, “These rumors are completely untrue. I’m traveling a lot because of my work, as Will does. And the fact that I’m accompanying our daughter, Willow, on her trips, while Will spends time with our son, Jaden, doesn’t make things easier,” Jada explained.
“But our way of living hasn’t changed. Before the children, we were already away from each other quite often because of our work.”
“But Will and I know the truth. We are waiting peacefully for when the storm ends.”
Someone always manages to dig up the dirt on VH1′s Basketball Wives stars, and KENYA BELL is the latest victim.
TMZ reports that KENYA’s soon-to-be ex-husband CHARLIE BELL is claiming that KENYA is financially reckless and has blew through hundreds of thousands of dollars on plastic surgery.
According to CHARLIE, KENYA also spent loads of cash on other expenses including $12,000 for a motorcycle, $9,000 on luggage and shoes, and $82,000 on a corvette.
This is following KENYA’s recent claims against CHARLIE, telling the courts about his frivolous shopping sprees at Louis Vuitton in Paris while KENYA is struggling to care for their two children.
CHARLIE, who currently plays pro ball in Italy — also claims he gave Kenya $200,000 before leaving for Europe, so he wants the court to deny her request for him to set aside a large chunk of his money for support.
Wonder if we’ll see this play out on the later episodes of Basketball Wives. After all, we want to know what surgeries MS. BELL had done…
