Looks like EVE may be throwing subtle at rap queen LAURYN HILL.

After making a cameo during fellow Ruff Ryder, DMX‘s set during the annual Rock the Bells concert, EVE was given time to debut new music.

She shocked the crowd with a freestyle where she spits, “Spread the word that I’m back, these b****** in debt better pay their tax, I said these b****** in debt better pay their tax.”

While it is unclear who EVE was speaking to directly, it has been speculated that she’s subliminally throwing shots at LAURYN HILL, who is facing up to three years in prison after being convicted of failing to pay taxes.

Although EVE has never spoken ill towards HILL, her comments raise an eyebrow.

LAURYN HILL‘s tax troubles just took a turn for the worst, as the State of New Jersey claims the songstress owes $440,000 in unpaid taxes.

HILL recently plead guilty to failing to file federal tax returns from 2005-2007 and is currently facing up to three years in prison.

While her issues with the federal government can potentially lead to jail time, her new tax woes have yet to be tried criminally.

It’s been a rough few days for former Miami Dolphins wide receiver CHAD ‘OCHOCINCO’ JOHNSON. First the arrest, then the loss of his job and now an impeding divorce from wife EVELYN LOZADA.

Overwhelmed with sadness and guilt, CHAD has finally come forward with a statement about the recent events.

“I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred,” said CHAD via his website. “I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death. I will continue to be positive and train hard for another opportunity in the NFL.”

“To all the fans and supporters I have disappointed, you have my sincerest apologies. I will stay positive and get through this tough period in my life.”

To add insult to injury, CHAD’s firing from the Miami Dolphins was captured on film during the HBO special Hard Knocks. As CHAD pleads for another chance, coach Joe Philbin just isn’t trying to hear it.

If CHAD’s career and reputation will can be salvaged after all this mess, it will be the PR miracle of a lifetime.

Basketball Wives star EVELYN LOZADA has filed for divorce from her husband of only six weeks, CHAD OCHOCINCO JOHNSON.

News of trouble within the couple’s marriage arose this weekend, when a domestic dispute between the newlyweds ended with EVELYN being headbutted and OCHOCINCO being arrested.

According to TMZ, LOZADA filed legal documents in Florida, claiming her marriage is “irretrievably broken.”

Because of the short length of their marriage, the prenuptial agreements signed by JOHNSON and LOZADA prior to their July 04th wedding won’t be much of an issue.

JOHNSON and LOZADA just finished filming a reality show documenting their trip down the alter but it was canceled shortly after Vh1 became aware of the couple’s domestic dispute.

Aside from their show being cut, JOHNSON was also dropped from his contract with the Miami Dolphins.

RIHANNA, self-proclaimed good girl gone bad, may have let that title cost her an endorsement.

STEFAN HEIDENREICH, the new head of Nivea’s parent company Beiersdorf, said in Germany: “The advert starring Rihanna was a no-go. I do not understand how Nivea can be brought into association with Rihanna.”

RIHANNA, who’s last tour was sponsored by Nivea, has been photographed partying hard, dressing sexy, and even smoking weed publicly.

The change in her lifestyle may have cost her an endorsement but RIHANNA is taking it with stride, as she tweeted a picture of HEIDENREICH’s face with the caption, “no caption neccessary.”

JOSELINE HERNANDEZ and MIMI FAUST aren’t the only chicks to fall for producer STEVIE J‘s antics.

EVE recently confirmed at the ‘Intimate Hour’ event she hosted in Philly that STEVIE J was indeed her first love.

“Yes, Stevie J was my first love,” she admitted at the event.

When asked how she defines her past relationship with STEVIE J, she said, “You know what…that was a learning experience. You meet people all the time. We just happen to fall in love. Umm, but thankfully I knew better, I know better.”

“When I was younger I didn’t question things but now I am annoying! Like if something doesn’t feel right speak up! If you feel like you are being lied to speak up,” the rapper confessed about her personal growth.

She even revealed that she’s very much in love now saying, “I am happily in love now. And the girl [I am] now he couldn’t even see this.”

Recently released pictures of Smirnoff spokesperson, AMBER ROSE, adds fuel to growing speculation that she is with child.

ROSE was snapped over the weekend poolside with only a bra and what could easily be mistaken for a growing baby bump.

AMBER ROSE was handed a sweatshirt and hat once the paps were spotted, but not before getting a glimpse of her growing out her trademark bleach blonde hair (another indication she may be preggers as hair bleaching is not recommended for pregnant women).

Speculation of a possible pregnancy began after AMBER ROSE was spotted .

We’ve been side eyeing AMBER ROSE’s belly ever since she debuted a loose fitted dress and a head-wrap at a recent Smirnoff event.

CHRIS BROWN and RIHANNA has the whole world thirstily watching their every move.

RIHANNA, who tweets her every move, is currently on vacation in France, and coincidentally, her ex-boo CHRIS BROWN is also in the historic country shooting a music video.

Rumors began to swirl that BROWN and RIHANNA were indeed with each other and that he landed on her yacht via private helicopter.

RIHANNA added fuel to the fire by tweeting, ”Touch down baby, help me pick out my fit,” while BROWN posted a picture of himself in a helicopter driven by LUDACRIS.

But BROWN’s rep denies the allegations telling The Hollywood Scoop, ”[Chris Brown] is in France to shoot a music video for [the] Swizz Beatz album and Ludacris is in it. It’s Swizz’s song.”

We don’t know what’s going on, but KARRUECHE need to keep a close eye on her man.
