Trigga’s role in the 1974 horror remake was extremely beneficial to the success of the film, as exit polls say one out of three moviegoers saw the film because of TREY SONGZ.

Texas Chainsaw 3D, the remake to the 1974 horror film, beat out Django Unchained, The Hobbit, and Les Miserables, three highly popular films.

Not too bad for his first major film role.

Rapper NICKI MINAJ is taking her entrepreneurial spirit to new heights with the release of her upcoming fashion line.

During several interviews while attending a New Years Eve party, MINAJ gushed to reporters about her plans to release her clothing line, and a third studio album sometime in 2013.

Known for her eccentric and sometimes outrageous clothing and hairstyles, a NICKI MINAJ clothing line is sure to be interesting.

There has yet to be an official name or release date scheduled for NICKI MINAJ’s fashion line, but there’s word that more deets on the upcoming venture will be announced in upcoming weeks.

What a way to top off 2012.

In addition to being re-elected for a second term as Commander in Chief of the United States, President BARACK OBAMA has also been named TIME Magazine‘s ‘Person of the Year’.

Featured on TIME‘s December cover, TIME’s managing editor, RICK STENGEL, spoke about choosing the POTUS as “Person Of The Year” saying, “We are in the midst of historic cultural and demographic changes, and Obama is both the symbol and in some ways the architect of this new America.”

RICK ROSS‘ alleged girlfriend, SHATERIA MORGANE-EL, has recently launched her Front Row Couture fashion line.

A Baltimore native, MORGANE-EL, rumored to have dated ROSS on and off for the last five years, is said to have started out as a personal stylist in Atlanta and Miami and has recently extended her talents to creating a line of her own.

Front Row Couture is slated to launch it’s autumn/winter 2013 collection at this years upcoming New York Fashion Week with the help of her celeb beau, who has cosigned the line in his tweets.

MORGANE-EL is also in preparation for a digital pop up shop to debut on Front Row Couture’s website on January 1, 2013.

Last night, VH1 aired its annual VH1 Divas, paying homage to some of the most successful women in entertainment.

There were two tribute performances held in honor and celebration of late great, WHITNEY HOUSTON, and DONNA SUMMER, who both passed away this year.

JORDIN SPARKS, MELANIE FIONA and LEDISI performed three of HOUSTON’s greatest hits, whileKELLY ROWLAND, KERI HILSON, and host, ADAM LAMBERT payed homage to the disco diva.
