Not only is BEYONCE doing voice-over acting for the lead character in the upcoming animated film, Epic, the superstar songstress is also gearing up to release new music on it’s soundtrack.

According to the Wall Street Journal, BEYONCE wrote and sings the song, “Rise Up, produced by HIT-BOY and CHASE N. CASHE, for the upcoming film where she stars as the voice of “Queen Tara.

“Rise Up,” can be heard on Epic, set to hit theaters May 24th.

After serving two years locked up, rapper, JA RULE is a free man, after being released from a federal prison in Upstate New York yesterday.

Like rapper LAURYN HILL, the Queens native was sentenced to 28 months in prison for failing to pay taxes on more than $3 million dollars between 2004-2006.

In a statement released to TMZ, JA RULE’s reps reveal that not only has the rapper been released from prison but he is in the process of penning a memoir.

USHER is gearing up to take another stab at acting.

According to the Associated Press, the multi-platinum selling singer, who starred in the 1999 film, Light It Up, has recently signed on to play boxing great, SUGAR RAY LEONARD in the upcoming film, Hands of Stone.

During an interview with the Associated Press, USHER beamed with excitement over his role.

“You couldn’t find a more stylized boxer than Sugar Ray Leonard. He was an incredible motion guy, the way he moved around the ring, and I think my dancing will make it easier for me to pick up his moves. I’ve been working on familiarizing myself with the ring, sparring and just understanding how to move in the ring.”

Aside from mastering LEONARD’s boxing techniques, USHER has to drop 22 pounds before the production of the film takes place to match LEONARD’s 150 pound stature.

Hands of Stone, set to chronicle the life and career of boxer, ROBERTO DURAN will include an intense fight scene where DURAN and LEONARD battle for the WBC welterweight title.

BOBBY BROWN is the latest celeb to sign on to appear in the second season of BET’s hit scripted series, Real Husbands of Hollywood.

BROWN’s addition to the RHOH cast comes months after the departure of cast member, ROBIN THICKE, who left because of scheduling conflicts.

Mama BEY reached out into the audience for her tiny tot’s hand while performing her hit single, “Irreplaceable.”

The five time Grammy award winning singer, LAURYN HILL miraculously managed to pay off $900,000 worth of tax debt off just one day before she was scheduled to be sentenced for failure to pay taxes from 2005 and 2007.

HILL faced up to three years in prison, if she did not pay back the owed $504,000 in back taxes and over $400,000 in state taxes combined with other penalties and late fees.

According to a statement released by HILL’s attorneys, “Ms. Hill has not only now fully paid prior to sentencing her taxes, which are part of her criminal restitution, but she has additionally fully paid her federal and state personal taxes for the entire period under examination through 2009.”

HILL took to Tumblr to as she debuted her new song “Neurotic Society,” with the message, “Hello All: Here is a link to a piece that I was ‘required’ to release immediately, by virtue of the impending legal deadline. I love being able to reach people directly, but in an ideal scenario, I would not have to rush the release of new music… but the message is still there. In light of Wednesday’s tragic loss (of former label mate Chris Kelly), I am even more pressed to YELL this to a multitude that may not understand the cost of allowing today’s unhealthy paradigms to remain unchecked!”

While in London, BEYONCE found time during her non-stop tour schedule to sit down for an interview with Good Morning America.

The pop star discussed everything from the emotion that came with playing Queen Tara, in her newest animated film, “EPIC,” to how she dealt with the controversy surrounding her anniversary trip to Cuba a month ago.
